Litigating Gender Equality in an Unequal Society

Speaker: Ruth Halperin-Kaddari

Professor Ruth Halperin-Kaddari (a graduate of Yale Law School) will discuss her work at the groundbreaking Rackman Institute, which was founded at Bar Ilan University’s law school with the goal of improving the status of women and bringing an end to gender discrimination in Israeli society.  She will discuss some of the legal strategies and techniques she uses in her work, and their possible application to the United States.
