This CLE course is filled with information for the immigration practitioner and non-immigration practitioner alike. The course will put immigration into historical context and reflect on immigration as we know it today. Employment-based options for individuals and businesses will be explained with an emphasis on commonly used categories in the business community.

The course will provide an opportunity for issue-spotting with overlap in areas such as matrimonial law, criminal law, and general pitfalls to screen for with clients.

The program will also offer advice, explain business compliance-related issues, and best practices offering a real-time analysis of employment-based immigration law in our current political and global climate.
