Bessie D. (Wilensky) Goldberg served as President of both the NYWBA and the Nassau/Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association. She was an attorney for the Legal Aid Society and rose to the position of
Attorney-in-Charge of its Rockaway Office. She and her husband, Hyman Goldberg, had four children, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She passed away in 2007.
