Crystal R. Villaseñor

Crystal R. Villaseñor serves as the Associate Court Attorney to the Hon. Dan Quart, J.C.C. in the Criminal Court, Bronx County. Prior to her current role, Crystal owned her own law firm representing clients in various courts throughout New York. Crystal participated in the Guardianship Diversity Initiative, a program connecting attorneys of diverse backgrounds to the City’s most vulnerable for Article 81 Guardianship proceedings. Crystal served as a Special Master to the Honorable Suzanne Adams, A.J.S.C, through the Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission. Crystal has served as a Director on the Board of the New York Women’s Bar Association since 2021. She also serves as co-chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Civil Courts, Technology, and Summer Program Committees of the NYWBA and the Diversity Committee of the WBASNY. Crystal has been a dedicated volunteer at the Village Independent Democrats Tenant Rights Legal Clinic and has contributed several pro bono hours to the Safe Passage Project, representing immigrant & refugee children. In 2020, Crystal represented women & children seeking asylum at the Texas border through the Dilley Pro Bono Project. Crystal earned her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she served as the President of the Women’s Law Student Association and received the National Association of Women Lawyer’s ‘Outstanding Female Law Student Award’. Crystal graduated from Johnson & Wales University, Summa Cum Laude.
