By Zoom.  RSVP AnimalLaw@nywba.org.

New York State Assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal, who represents the 67th Assembly District (West Side of Manhattan), has been at the forefront in sponsoring and actively supporting a panoply of legislation touching on a variety of issues that are near and dear to the hearts and minds of animal welfare activists and animal lovers throughout the state.  Through many of her successful legislative priorities, Assemblymember Rosenthal has created a “paw-print” for a much more humane New York, most recently by co-sponsoring and maintaining a leadership role to help achieve passage and signing of the bill banning the sale of dogs, cats and rabbits in New York pet stores, thereby facilitating an end to the horrific and cruel “puppy mill” trade.

Please join us as Assemblymember Rosenthal shares with our group news of some recent legislative accomplishments, as well as her visions and plans for the future.

Committee members and non-committee members alike are all welcome to attend, and all are encouraged to submit questions in advance.
